COMPREHENSIVE EYE EXAMINATIONS
At Dr. Austin's office we provide comprehensive eye examinations for your entire family. We recommend these examinations be performed annually to maintain optimum eye health.
We will check for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and other diseases of the eye.
MEDICAL EYE SERVICES
We provide comprehensive, competent eyecare. Dr. Austin is trained and licensed in the diagnosis and treatment of most anterior segment and posterior segment medical eye conditions. We have state-of-the-art instrumentation for the detection, diagnosis, and documentation of eye diseases. As deemed necessary, our examinations may include binocular indirect ophthalmoscopy, retinal fundus photography, ocular coherence tomography, pachymetry, threshold visual field analysis, and more to provide second to none medical eyecare.

OUR DOCTOR
Dr. Allen E. Austin graduated from the University of California at Riverside. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry, where he also served internships in hospital-based optometry programs at McClellan Air Force Hospital Sacramento, CA, VA Medical Center, Brooklyn NY and Kaiser Permanente Hospital, Falls Church, VA. He is the past clinical director at TLC Laser Center in Ontario,CA. Dr. Austin is a past recipient of the Homer A. Nelson Award for clinical excellence from the Southern California College of Optometry. He holds a special interest in refractive laser surgery and ocular pathology. When not in the office Dr. Austin enjoys spending time with his wife and two teenagers.
